Escola Cidade Jardim | PlayPen is a private, secular, bilingual school in Cidade Jardim, São Paulo.
We offer a bilingual education with English immersion for pupils from Early Years (14 months old) to High School. Our innovative educational programme combines the Brazilian national curriculum (BNCC) with a modern international curriculum that prepares our students for a global future. We build the foundations for a lifelong love of learning, from kindergarten to high school and beyond.

Since 1981 we have focused on the highest quality teaching, with fluent bilingual teachers (Portuguese-English) and the latest teaching approaches to help our students achieve and exceed their learning goals.
Creating a culture of care
We understand the impact that the learning environment has on our students. In order to achieve their best, students must feel safe, listened to and cared for. As a member of the global Cognita Group, we follow detailed safeguarding policies and are committed to ensuring a culture of care that provides for our student’s needs and helps them to develop the emotional resilience they need to succeed in today’s world. With small class sizes and an excellent teacher-to-student ratio, we strive to support each student on their individual learning journey, developing personal goals and setting an example of how to live with character and integrity. Global partnerships
We are proud to be a part of the UNESCO Associated Schools Network. This is a partnership of 12,000 schools worldwide that work together in support of peace, intercultural understanding, sustainable development and quality education. Each year our teachers take into account UNESCO development goals when planning the curriculum, and our students take part in projects based on these objectives.

We are part of the Cognita group, a collection of over 100 leading private schools in 17 countries worldwide. Through Cognita we are able to offer our students global exchanges and other opportunities to expand their knowledge and experience on an international scale.

Implementation of the IPC (International Primary Curriculum) in elementary school.

Inauguration of high school, delivering both the Brazilian a rigorous international curriculum.
